Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

SteadCase is built around a simple idea: your case is yours. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect and how we treat it.

Information you provide

  • Account details such as your email address.
  • Case content you enter — incidents, evidence records, notes, court dates, and any files you upload.
  • Payment details handled by our payment provider (we don’t store card numbers).

How we use it

  • To provide and operate your private case dashboard.
  • To process subscriptions and early-access purchases.
  • To send essential account and service messages.

Your case content is private

Your case data is associated with your account and is not sold. It is shown to you and to anyone you deliberately share an export or snapshot with. We use reputable infrastructure providers to store data securely.

Payments

Payments are processed by our payment provider. Card details are handled by that provider under their own security and privacy terms; SteadCase does not see or store full card numbers.

Your choices

  • You can request a copy or deletion of your data.
  • You can close your account at any time.
